Campus Ministry at Washburn University

 Pastor Stark is the LCMS Kansas District contact person for Campus Ministry at Washburn University. Prior to his call to St. John’s he also served as the campus vicar at University Lutheran Chapel in Boulder, CO. When Washburn is in session, he leads a Bible study, Tuesday nights at 9 p.m. in the Boswell Room. 

Why a Bible study on campus? First, it is intended to encourage our LCMS students in the faith during a pivotal time in life. Second, the goal is to build friendships with fellow LCMS students from around the country so they know that they are not alone in the secular sea. Lastly, this opportunity gives students an outreach opportunity to invite their friends to taste Christianity. If you know students studying at Washburn, please make sure that you have informed them about this opportunity.
